Yes, we're new. Yes, we're called Big Boy Roofing. Both on purpose.
BBR is a company. The crew that runs the ladder isn't new — they've spent 10+ years on Calgary roofs between them. They know what Mahogany hail does to a ridge cap, and which Aspen Woods builders cheaped out on flashing in '08. What's new is the company around them: written quotes pulled from satellite imagery, deposit terms in writing, a phone the founders pick up.
And the name? We sat in a kitchen for an hour throwing options around. "Prestige Exterior Excellence Group™ Inc." was on the whiteboard for about four seconds before it got crossed off. A roof either holds or it doesn't. Strong roofs need a big boy. You'll remember the name in August.
WHAT WE DON'T DO.
Easier to tell you what we won't do than what we will. Below is the actual list. Print it out and hold us to it.
- Bug you with weekly follow-ups. You'll hear from us when the quote is ready. Then we wait for you.
- Tell you we "just happened to be in the area." If we're at your door, we drove there on purpose.
- Disappear after install. Warranty calls go to the same phone.
- Sell you upgrades you didn't ask about.
- Tell you the whole roof needs replacing when it doesn't. If a repair holds, we'll say so — even though the repair is the smaller cheque.
- Subcontract your roof to whoever's cheapest that week. The crew on the ladder is the crew we vouch for.
- Make you sign at the door. Take the quote home, sleep on it, sign when it makes sense.
